]Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality preserves nature with the collection project of waste batteries maintained since 2005.
Waste batteries that create a big threat for environmental and human health are sent to schools, institutions and organizations to be collected with battery collection boxes and drums. [
Great City has been in front of the mixing of 82 tons of waste batteries into the ground with the work it started since 2005. The amount of waste battery collected between 2005-2012 was 61 ton. With the increase of awareness studies, 21 tons of waste batteries were collected in the first 6 months of the year of 2013.
