It is very important to protect the health of the ecosystem, promote the resources of the migration and provide economic growth. For this, fishing and aquaculture, tourism, energy, maritime port activities, marine dibi mining, as well as innovative areas such as renewable energy and marine biotechnology are required to support key sectors. The presence of marine resources that provide food safety, nutrition, employment and financing facilities has critical value for small island states. The population living in the coast contributes to the global economy with the expectations of 3 trillion dollars from 2030. In the light of all these data, the United Nations Ocean Conference took place in Lisbon, 27 June – 1 July. The conference was held in order to strengthen sustainable ocean-based economies and to make concrete decisions for the protection of the coastal ecosystems by focusing on the fact of creating 40 percent of the world population of communities connected to seas in terms of late resources living in nearby or coastal settlements. In the speech that the former President of the Sons Danny Faure conference, he called to support the coastal countries, more affected by the climate change of the international society, taking into account the importance of small states to reveal their purpose and cravings.

In the field of ocean actions, it was taken into account the need of a radical change, especially in the role of decision-making in the ocean science, policy creation and blue economy. The importance of the study conditions and salary difference of women in the field of sea fishing was also marked. [

Need concrete action with legislation

Maria Damanaki, founder of the ’Leading Women for the Ocean platform, draws gold that needs concrete action with legislation. Damanaki suggested that women who need to be seen as part of the blue economy will bring positive effects. World leaders have more than 12 thousand participants in the conference, including entrepreneurs, teenagers, phenomena and scientists.
