Ford Otosan Published the Sustainability Report of 2018. In the report, Ford Otosan, who has brought the vision of creating social value with its commercial and financial performance as a whole, has shared its programs and employees that are distributed out for the elimination of innovation and digitalization, as well as its activities and society-friendly work, gender equality.
Ford Otosan Published the 2017 Sustainability Report, which includes between January 1 – 31 December 2018 in line with the principles of GRI Standards (GRI Standards) Published by Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The company’s location in the “FTSE4Good – Development Markets Index” which has been recognized in the Exchange Istanbul Sustainability Index and responsible investment with its performance in Sustainability.

] In the description of the new day of the General Manager of Ford Otosan, the employees who are the assurance of the production, the established R&D culture and the environmental performance that provides efficiency, stated that Ford Otosan creates value for its customers, “This is why alive is an important part of our business. Our environmental sensitive and value-added production approach. Our investments for Industry 4.0 in our molds in digital transformation and innovation rooms continue. In 2018, we carry out 23 different projects to implement digital transformation while operating 51 robots in our conflict. With the capacity increase in 2018, our installed production capacity rises to 455 thousand, we had the pride of making our annual total of 374 thousand units with zero shrinkage.

The amount of equivalent to energy efficiency projects increased by 12 percent

Ford Otosan, located in the most efficient production line of Ford Europe for two years in the energy consumption of the vehicle with the increase of 12 percent according to the energy efficiency projects carried out by 79.869,5 GJ has saved energy and passed 4,860,6 tons of CO2 emissions. Total energy consumption has been taken to 2 million GJ levels with 8,4 percent reduction according to the previous year. With the installation of Ford Otosan’s windbreak and solar panels, the renewable energy consumption of 89 GJ in 2017 was released at 2.368 GJ in 2018.
Within the scope of water management studies, the acquisition of 290 thousand m2 water in Kocaeli and İnönü diarrhea is again in the production cycle. The process was designed to be restored about 75-80 percent of the water to the waste water plant is planned to be activated in 2019.

One of the innovative works that contribute to environmental fluid in 2018 was the project that aims to be used in glass fiber mixture with polypropylene, the raw material of the truck fan hood. After successful management of all modeling and testing processes, 25 percent reduction in parts price and 95 thousand TL financial savings were clicked on the FAQ. In the coming period, the project is expected to save up to 850 thousand TL from this channel with the spread of transit vehicles produced in higher volume.
