In 2022, 30 percent less fish will be hunting in Europe

]]The results of a research conducted forWWF show that if new regulations are not brought, the fishing industry goes to disaster. Accordingly, if the current situation lasts, in 2022, fishermen in the EU can hunt 1.4 million tons, that is 30 percent less fish than 2009.
In the research conducted by the Dutch consulting firm Framian BV, the European Commission has been brought more stringent regulations to the EU lands, to prevent the reduction in fish stocks, but they were included in which they are harming the sector further. [
The protection of existing laws according to this will also give serious effects on employment of 50 thousand people working in the industry in 2022.
]WWF’s European policy director Tony Long is able to provide stable fish stocks in the long term, but resources need to be managed sustainablely."
The amount of fish hunting in the EU was relatively protected the stability of fish, such as Iceland and Norway, while an average of 3.7 percent in the year.
If stable reforms are made in the fishing area according to the breeding and the stocks are drawn to 'stainable' levels, fishermen in the EU water can hunt 2.8 million tons (80) more fish. This means an additional 2.1 billion Euro per year.
The European Parliament will not disclose the official response to the reform call in the Common Fishing Policy of the European Commission to January 2013.
The Council of Ministers reported that sustainability will be primary priority in new regulations.
