Matchbox toys will be produced from 100% converted plastic
The game manufacturer Matchbox aims to use 100% recycled, recyclable or bio-based plastic material in all Matchbox metal cars to guide kids to a more sustainable future. Mattel supports the goal of using 100 percent recycled, recyclable or bio-base plastic materials in both products and packaging by 2030. The first metal tool Matchbox Tesla Roadster, produced by Carbon Neutral certified by this goal. Matchbox Tesla Roadster, produced from 62.1 recycled zinc, 1 percent stainless steel and 36.9 percent recycled plastic, will be available for sale from 2022.
