Shura Energy Transformation Center’s ‘The Optimum Electrical Production Capacity of Turkey’ report was published in the ‘2030 Years. According to the report on 5 different scenarios of electrical production capacity planning during the 2020-2030 of Turkey; while ensuring energy supply safety and affordable supply tedari, Turkey’s planning energy conversion, aiming to limit negative environmental and economic effects of fossil fuel sources. In this context, 2023 targets and strategies in Turkey require a short and long-term, integrated energy and climate change strategy. Wind and solar energy for all scenarios included in the report stand out as minimal cost sources. While the support provided with regulatory policies expect to accelerate the development of these resources, it is predicted that the share of wind and solar energy in total electricity production will take 30 percent in 2030.

Distributable to internal resources]
According to Balanced Policy Scripture, Turkey’s annual electrical demand will grow 3.9 percent, and at the end of 2030, the total board power will reach 139 thousand megawatt levels. Approximately 63 thousand megawatts of this capacity are estimated to be provided from wind and solar energy sources. The share of renewable energy in total electricity production is expected to rise to 52 percent in this period. Thus, it is planned to reduce dependence on imported resources in Turkey and reduce electricity-produced greenhouse gas emissions. [

Power efficiency key renewable energy
] On the other hand, it is recommended to support the storage technologies that provide flexibility to the system for more renewable energy integration. According to the report, it is necessary to support energy efficiency with renewable energy and environmental policies in order to achieve the goals, while it is predicted that it will be diced in the near period of increasing energy efficiency, which provides effective results in terms of cost.
