WWF-Turkey (Natural Life Protection Foundation), has a report that evaluates the 12 Ramsar Area of Turkey due to 2 February World Sulak Turizm Day. In the report, 12 wetlands were killed in Turkey’s Ramsar Area and committed to its protection and awareness use. Gediz Delta, Manyas (Kuş) Lake, Burdur Lake, Sultansazliği, Seyfe Lake, Göksu Delta, Redırmak Delta, Uluabat Lake, Akyatan Lagini, Egg Lagini, Measa Maar and sister Obruğu were tested with official institutions and local people in 12 Ramsar Area and the up-to-date conditions of areas were carried out.

[[T]]In addition to the wrong management and usage applications, the effects of global climate change are also not internal opener in Turkey. So the snow note of wetlands of our country is medium. [[[T]] [email protected][

In Turkey, about 1.300.000 hectar sulak area in the last 40 years; they interfere with drying, filling, water systems and lost its ecological and economic property due to pollution. When the total wetlands in Turkey are thought to be 2.5 million hectares, we can count that we lost half of our wetlands over the past 40 years. Buket Spring Dıvrak, Director of WWF-Turkey Water Resources Program; "WWF-Turkey; we organized 12 wetlands with international importance of our country. With this report; the use of excessive agricultural waters, dredge of underground waters, the chemical pollution from agricultural waters, we also reveal that problems such as industrial and domestic pollution, which are given to untreated wetlands are experienced. [

The situation in some of the Ramsar Tours, according to the assessment report by theWWF-Turkey, is as follows: Due to the unconscious and excessive agriculture water extraction in Sultansazluk, the water that feeds today and was almost left. The climate of the region has been tested, economically reduced such as wetlands. Akyatan Lagini, which is the largest lagoon of Turkey, and the largest sandals, walking agricultural medicine, fertilizer and alumina with drainage channels. The opening of agricultural areas in the upper segments into the occupation and industry, the rapid increase of population and the increase of pressure on the natural areas in concentrated migration delta, has been opened to agriculture by resisting the entire temporary wetlands surrounding the lake. Sweet water has been reduced due to dams to Egg Lagini Tags. The fishermen eat that the amount of fish hunting in the Yuurtaluk Lagini treats in the last 10 years by 30%-40%. Gediz Delta is polluted every day with domestic and industrial springs waste waters left without being compromised. It is also stored in deltada waste mud and molose. Uluabat Lake is under agriculture, industrial and domestic use jealousyy. In addition, water is taken with the water from the lake and 6,350 hectar agriculture land around the lake is watered. The most important source of living people around Uluabat, a shallow lake is fishing and is directly affected by pollution and water reduction in the lake. In Obruğu, the water level has dropped 30 m as a result of excessive use of underground water in the last 30 years.

The most important problem in Delta is industrial, domestic and agricultural-source pollution. More than 50% of Delta as agricultural land. Normally, the value of supplements, which should be 0.02 mg/lt, is 0.117 mg/lt, which is in the place where the water is entered into the area, because it is dirty in the ready. There is no waste treatment system at all of the settlement located in Delta, it is also important issues of construction and sand removal.

The economic value of all wetlands ecosystems in the world has been detected as 14.9 cents US dollars. Search for: Providing drinking water, flood control, diet of underground waters, control of climate change, water treatment with many functions such as water wet areas, etc. [

Buket Spring Dıvrak, Director of the WWF-Turkey Water Resources Program; "We have been seen before again that there are ecosystems with important and vital functions of wetlands in 2007. 40% of the carbon in the world retains wet areas and dry wet areas; a large amount of carbon dioxide to be renewed into agriculture. When the effects of global climate change are considered to bely liked in this century, the protection of wetlands and good management are extremely important. On the other hand, wetlands also organize the water regime of the where they are located by feeding or blocking underground waters, bond the base water, flood flood waters, control the floods, soften the spatial waters on the coast. ByLevel the humidity rate in the area where they are located, it has positive effect on local climate elements, mainly occurs and temperature. The main reason for frost events in recent years in Central Anatolia is the reduction of wetlands in the region or completely drying. Since the micro-conditioning effect module by wetlands diarrhea, events such as frost, flood are experienced and damaged losses in agriculture production in the region. In this sense, programs should be created for reclaiming corrupted areas while maintaining existing areas and the necessary financial resources should be considered.
