A major research in China revealed that the sudden increase in air pollution increases the risk of heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia). According to the news included in The Guardian, the research based on about 200 thousand hospital applications revealed that the increase in air pollution levels is an important increase in the risk of arrhythmia within the first few hours. Heart rhythm disorder can increase the risk of heart disease and sudden cardiac death.

Risks continue for 24 hours]
Dr. Fudan University in Shanghai Renjie Chen noted that acute exposure to ambient air pollution is associated with increased risk of symptomatic arrhythmia; “Risks appear within the first few hours after exposure and can continue for 24 hours” said. A recent year study revealed that it was a connection between arrhythmias with fine particle air pollution in healthy teenagers, and it was true that this means a health risk. In a previous study, hundreds of people were detected to hospital for emergency care after spending heart attacks, paralysis and asthma attacks of hundreds of people in the days where air pollution is high in the UK. The British Heart Foundation announced that more than 160 thousand people could die due to stroke and heart attack due to air pollution. [

]Health effects beyond heart disease
With research that air pollution increases the proportion of lung cancer, which provokes mutations in sleep, triggering the growth of tumors, health effects extend beyond heart disease. The authors of the study expressed that the findings published in the Canadian Medical Associatiown Journal highlighted the need for protection and overall exposure of people at risk during intense air pollution.
