WWF came to this statement from Turkey:
]]The international contract we are party according to the 90th article of our foundation are in the provision of law in Turkey. Thus, according to the Bern Convention, it is forbidden to keep the dolphins under captivity and use for commercial purposes in Turkey. In contrast to the European countries, Turkey is the first place among the countries where the number of dolphin sights multiply. Turkey has been complained of the European Council by WDCS (Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society) before these grounds.
