The United Nations announced 22 March in 1993 to attract increasingly pressures created on population growth and water sources of migration. The events organized in the framework of different themes to bring problems faced by water resources were determined as “Water and Food Safety”. The world’s population faces 854 million human malnutrition issues equivalent to 15 percent. Increased population will double the need for food in the next 50 years. Increasing food production means more water consumption. [
The CPA Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) invites you to carefully treat humanity about the use of water, one of the important inputs of food production by making a warning to the wrong use of water, food loss. Total amount of water over the world is 1.4 billion kilometers. The planet faces a serious water shortage, despite its three in the world. Because of the total amount of water, 97.5 percent of the oceans and seas, i.e. salt water. The amount of 2.5 percent remaining is more and more.
