Dokuz September University Solaris Solar Carts Team's solar powered vehicle was sold through the internet. The college team aims to build a new vehicle with income from sales and participate in competitions.

[[T]]The only electric vehicle working with solar energy completed in 2006 was the first in the semi-finals in the TUBITAK solar powered vehicle races in 2007, the “Sun Life” solar powered vehicle design competition held in Greece in 2008, the design award was awarded in the Moroccan Solar Powered Vehicle Race, which was held in 2014 and was awarded different degrees such as special prize in European Solar Challenge, which was held in Belgium. Dokuz September University Solaris Solar Carts Team aims to be the first Turkish team who completed the World Solar Challenge race, which will be held in Avusturalya in 2015 by making a new and more technological vehicle with income from the sales of solar powered electric vehicle.
