Offices Reflect the Preference from Protecting Nature

The largest threat of the century is involved in fighting offices in climate change. The Green Office Program launched by WWF supports offices to develop sustainable environmental policies and create an effective environmental management system.

[[T]]Green Office Program is part of the strategic approach in the fight against climate change, which is the basis of WWF’s work in the world. The program intends to create awareness in office workers in the areas of energy saving, renewable resources, conscious use of natural resources and change of lifestyle. [

Green Office Program allows participating companies to systematically evaluate the office resources and consumption and identify the relevant savings criteria and create their own environmental management systems in this frame.

WWF-Turkey’s Green Office Program aims to reduce the damage that offices have given to the environment in this framework to create simple and enforceable resource management for offices. Companies participating in the program have made savings with a reduction in office costs from the other side while reducing the pressure they created on natural resources.

For this purpose, the offices set up, the energy saving in the Green Office Program, the efficient use of transportation and materials, as well as the targets of reduction. The offices reaching the specific goals are gaining the right to obtain Green Office Diploma.
