Soil scientists discuss the measures to be taken for land degradation
The European Congress of Soil Sciences (Eurosoil), which is the most recent review in the world’s earth science, is held in Istanbul on 17-22 July 2016. The European Earth Science Communities are held every four years in the Confederation and this year will be held at the congress to be hosted in Istanbul for the first time, where the land is under the risk and emergency action plans will be explained in this regard.

President and A.U, Head of the Turkish Soil Science Association, which emphasizes that one of the biggest environmental problems of our day is broken down. Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Ayten Namlı stressed that approximately 25 percent of the lands available across the globe. Ayten Namlı said that it is about 2 billion hectares area, so about South America has broken down lands in the face. Namlı said that the land was taken as long as the measures of the corruption were not, every year 12 million hectar land has been broken forward.

Prof. indicating that the fight against the corruption of the land should be a global fight.
