The European Union (EU) countries have adopted to gradually stop warming up to 2040 fossil fuel in the framework of Energy Performance Directive (EPBD) agreement in Buildings. Minister Teresa Ribera, responsible for the Ecological Transformation of Spain, noted that this agreement was a positive step for citizens, economy and planet.

Home EU countries have committed to gradually removing fossil fuels used in home heating up to 2040.
• As of 2025, EU countries will not provide any financial incentive for the installation of cobies working with fossil fuels.
] • As of 2030, all new buildings have to be Zero Emission Buildings with zero-site carbon emission resulting from fossil fuels.

• By 2025, financial support to independent fossil fuel devices such as boilers will be prohibited.
