[Nepal government decided to redefine the height of Everest for decades in budget interviews last week.
The spokesperson of the Ministry ofEarth Reforms, the Gopel Giri said that the peak of the mountain will be resurrected with the satellite technology, this process will be completed in two years.
Nepal, while the height of the mountain has been accepted as 8448 meters for decades, Americans identified that in 1999 the mountain is 8850 meters. China claims Everest is 8844 meters.
