[[T]4]In 2011, the first Green Consumption Research revealed significant results. Despite the fact that the products purchased by 71% of consumers should be “green/environment-friendly”, the rate of [green/environmental-friendly products is only 17]. Research participants indicate that the topic they are most interested in after health and education is the environment and can identify 86% of green and environmentally friendly products. When saying “Green and environmentally friendly product”, almost half of the consumers come back to the mind-reversible products[[ T8]; 36% organic, 32% of the “energy-efficient” products are environmentally friendly.

However consumers are concerned about the high price, little varieties and trust shaker information about green products and services that are ready to buy.

According to the research, it works very much to all parties to change consumer perceptions in Turkey and meet their expectations. It reveals that consumer perception needs to perform studies in terms of change and prevalence of use, especially in order to re-review the prices and consumer, labels, certificates and other information.
