]A university in Peru has produced clean drinking water in advertising campaign to increase the number of students.
Peru Engineering and Technology University wanted to make an advertising campaign to increase the number of students during 2013 student registration period. The Mayo DraftFCB company, which works together throughout the campaign, produced a project used by technology to promote university. [
Peru Engineering and Technology University is located in Lima, the largest city of Peru. Lima, with a population of 7.6 million, has a city located in the desert region and a serious problem of drought. But on the one hand, since the humidity rate in the air is observed in 83%.
]In the billboards built by the University, the moisture is captured in the air with generators first, then the water captured is passing through the reverse osmosis process. Thus, moisture is converted into clean drinking water.
In 3 months, 9,5 tons of water was produced with a single billboard built in Lima. This amount is enough to meet the needs of hundreds of families every month. Approximately 1.2 million people sitting in Lima do not take water from tap in their house. City residents who try to provide water needs from private water companies can have to pay up to 20 dollars in 1 suya water because these companies cannot be controlled. This price is up to nearly 20 times from the inhabitants sitting in the rich regions of the city.
