  • The Turkish Bank of Development (TSKB) signed a new loan agreement to be used in sustainable energy investments. The geothermal energy investments in Turkey will be supported with a loan of 150 million US dollars provided under the agreement signed by the World Bank.

The TSKB General Manager Suat Slim, which is located in the credit provided in the framework of the World Bank “Jeotermal Development Project” is among the most important sustainability priorities of TSKB. 13% of the renewable energy capacity of our country is funded by our Bank, a clear indicator of the steps we skip in this area. We are delighted to strengthen the support we provide to renewable energy investments with the new agreement that we signed with the World Bank. We believe that this support we can provide is a step to increase the geothermal energy capacity of our country, pass to low-carbon economy and make a difference in reducing the dependence on energy.”
